Loving God, I thank You for this time of prayer. I plead with You to hear this prayer offered in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ and to lead me wonderfully. Let Your word, “The Lord will guide you continually...” (Isaiah 58:11), be fulfilled in my life, and let all the impediments and worries in the way be removed and please help me to complete the tasks at hand. Bless me too, O Lord, as it is written, “whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3). Help me so that all that I do and all the efforts I make might prosper. Help me to have sufficient funds and the help of men. I trust in You, O Lord. Let me not be put to shame. Grant me perseverance. Give me the heart to cling to You as Jacob did, saying, “I will not let You go unless You bless me.” (Genesis 32:26). Grant me the grace not to fear men but You only. Those who were trained by me and those who helped me have become my foes. I cannot bear what they say slighting me. Yet in me create a steadfast spirit to pursue my goals and make them happen. In all those areas where I am held in disdain, make me succeed to inherit a blessed life. Make all the opposing forces disappear and dullness to vanish. As You are doing that, I praise and thank You. Make everything good for me. In all my efforts, let me see goodness prevail. Continue to guide and bless me. Help me to be comforted through Your guidance and protection.
